Who we are

Founded in 1991, Secours Islamique France (SIF) is a national and international non-governmental organization (NGO) that has been active for over 32 years in France and around the world, wherever humanitarian and social needs require it.

About us

Food Security, water, Hygiene, Sanitation, Child Welfare and protection, Shelter, the campaign against vulnerability and exclusion, advocacy… As an NGO, the SIF has been running numerous social and humanitarian projects in France and around the world for over 32 years

Our activities

Emergency aid

Our teams are often called upon to intervene quickly after a disaster to provide food, drinking water, shelter and other basic needs to the affected populations.

Development

In addition to emergency aid, we are also involved in sustainable development projects such as building infrastructure and improving access to education.

Advocacy and awareness-raising

Our professionals also play a role in raising public and government awareness of humanitarian crises, seeking to mobilise resources and influence policies in favour of vulnerable populations.

International collaboration

Our work often involves collaborating with national and/or international organisations, local NGOs/associations and other actors to coordinate aid efforts.

A committed human resources policy

Secours Islamique France considers diversity a strength. We therefore review all applications, provided they demonstrate the skills required for the position to be filled.
As a humanitarian NGO, SIF is committed to respecting the humanitarian principle of “Do No Harm” and ensures that the safety of our beneficiaries (including children), employees, volunteers, partners, and service providers is a primary consideration in all of its activities.
SIF maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of fraud, corruption, psychological/sexual harassment, abuse or violence of any kind, and, more broadly, any breach of legislation, regulations, the Child Safeguarding Policy (CSP), or the internal code of conduct, both at headquarters and in the field.
In line with these principles, this position is subject to a criminal record check as well as professional reference checks.
Our charter is a genuine commitment: we mobilise all of our staff to promote, share, and uphold the principles set out.
Together, let’s rise to the challenge for a solidarity that transcends differences.
