Who we are

Founded in 1991, Secours Islamique France (SIF) is a national and international non-governmental organization (NGO) that has been active for over 32 years in France and around the world, wherever humanitarian and social needs require it.

About us

Food Security, water, Hygiene, Sanitation, Child Welfare and protection, Shelter, the campaign against vulnerability and exclusion, advocacy… As an NGO, the SIF has been running numerous social and humanitarian projects in France and around the world for over 32 years

Our activities

Emergency aid

Our teams are often called upon to intervene quickly after a disaster to provide food, drinking water, shelter and other basic needs to the affected populations.

Development

In addition to emergency aid, we are also involved in sustainable development projects such as building infrastructure and improving access to education.

Advocacy and awareness-raising

Our professionals also play a role in raising public and government awareness of humanitarian crises, seeking to mobilise resources and influence policies in favour of vulnerable populations.

International collaboration

Our work often involves collaborating with national and/or international organisations, local NGOs/associations and other actors to coordinate aid efforts.

A committed human resources policy

SIF believes that diversity is an asset. We therefore consider all applications in so far as they have the skills required for the position to be filled.

SIF has zero tolerance of any type of fraud, corruption, moral harassment, abuse or violence of any kind whatsoever, and, more generally, any breach of legislation, regulations or the code of conduct established internally.

As a humanitarian NGO, the ‘DO NOT HARM’ principle is central to SIF : we ensure that the respect and safety of the children we support in our projects is a primary consideration for all our employees and partners.

Our charter is a genuine commitment: we involve all our staff in promoting, disseminating and complying with the principles set out.

Together, let’s rise to the challenge of solidarity that transcends differences.
